The humility of the MAGI...food for our souls!

The MAGI gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. These gifts prepare him, in a sense, for his death, burial, and Resurrection 33 years later. Also, they could signify: GOLD-represents our final destination with God; FRANKINCENSE-Our prayers to Heaven above; MYRRH-Salve for the wounds of our sins.

Let us thank the Magi for their role in Jesus' birth and exodus to Egypt. And continue to seek the Lord like they did when "looking for where the Mother and Child lie."
